Change Task Type for Multiple Tasks

  1. Task Type can be changed for multiple tasks at the same time.
  2. Select multiple tasks in the Task Grid, then right-click More > Set Task Type, then choose the type of task to change them to (Work, Monitor, Meeting, Summary, Milestone, Major Milestone). Click here to learn how to select multiple tasks.

  3. The default values for Duration, Work Per Day, and Total Work are also updated when changing from one Task Type to another.
  4. The following table shows the default values for each Task Type, where the asterisk (*) is a function of the resource's availability (hours/day), shown here as 5 hours/day.
