Search for Tasks by Title, Description, Unique ID

  1. In addition to searching for tasks by Title, you can also search by Description, Title & Description, and unique ID.

  2. For example, several tasks in this plan have a cost attribute defined in their descriptions. Note: attributes are defined using the following format:

  3. Using the option Description and searching for Cost finds and filters the plan to show only those tasks with the text Cost in their descriptions. Searches are not case sensitive.

  4. You can also search by unique ID. A task's unique ID can be found in Task Properties on the Summary & Status page.
