Insert Task

    1. A task can be created by inserting it between two existing tasks.

    2. In the following example we will create a new task, inserting it between the Review/Approve and Get Quotes tasks.
    3. Hover over the link between the Review/Approve and Get Quotes tasks to highlight it, then right-click, and select Insert Task.

    4. Enter the new task's title, assign a resource, and estimate its duration and hours of effort (Work). The predecessor and successor links are automatically assigned.

    5. The new task is inserted just below the predecessor.
